Hand me a Canvas,
I'll paint you a story,
Colour splashed by me.
One colour will depict,
A phase of my life.
A story through colours.
How me!
Hand me a red.
What will this tell?
The anger, love, blood?
Maybe all three!
The temper of my brush,
Fixed up at the canvas.
The gentle of my love,
Stroked upon that canvas.
The pain of my body,
Dripped down a canvas.
So hand me a blue.
What will we see?
The calm, sad or sky?
Maybe all three!
The peace of my mind,
Brushed across the canvas.
The upset of my life,
Barely marking that canvas.
The clouds of my thoughts,
Dabbed on a canvas.
So hand me a green.
What will you learn?
The growth, envy, emerald?
Maybe all three!
The growth of my spirit,
Tall and strong upon the canvas.
Envy of my heary,
A dot on that canvas.
Emerald of my birth,
A gleam on a canvas.
So hand me a yellow.
What will this beam?
The happy, funny, sunshine?
Maybe all three!
The joy of my style,
brightens the canvas.
The humor of my persona,
Splashing that canvas.
The light of my life,
Shining on a canvas.
So hand me a purple.
What will it reveal?
The sinister, dark, secrets?
Maybe all three!
The scary of my moments,
Poisoning the canvas.
The hidden of my closure,
Unseen upon that canvas.
The whispers of my heart,
A minor detail on a canvas.
So hand me the canvas,
What was told?
What was seen?
What was learnt?
What was beamed?
What was revealed?
My story.
So I've colour splashed my canvas,
For all the world to see.
I'll display is as a masterpiece,
Cause I'm proud of what I am.
